April Education: The New York Obelisk: A link to the ancient Builders?
Brother Bryan Godwin, Masonic Author, and SW of Anchor Bell will be elaborating on his recently published research on "The New York Obelisk" which is the featured article in this quarter's Journal of the Scottish Rite Research Society, The Plumbline.
Bro Godwin will explore the history and mystery of one of the oldest constructed artifacts in the United States, its incredible journey from Egypt to New York, and the story of the many Masons involved with this effort. Lastly, we will discuss the "masonic" artifacts that may have been found in the base of this near 3500 year old relic and how they impacted the fraternity at the time.
